Russia Alert on Wagner Group Rebellion, Tanks Deployed in Moscow to Protect the Kremlin


Russia Vladimir Putin: The Chief of the Wagner Group in Russia has vowed to abolish the Russian army on Saturday (June 24). He has accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of launching attacks on people from the Wagner Group. At the same time, the Prosecutor General of Russia said that the head of the rebel party is under investigation on charges of inciting an armed rebellion.

Yevgeny Prigozhin, the 62-year-old chief of the Wagner Group, said in an audio message that we are moving forward and we will go to the end. We will destroy everything that stands in our way, he said in his most daring challenge to President Vladimir Putin since the start of the offensive in Ukraine last year.

Russian military helicopter shot down
The head of the Wagner Group claimed that his forces had shot down a Russian military helicopter. He said that a helicopter had just fired on a civilian contingent. It has been shot down by the unit of PMC Wagner. Prigozhin had earlier said that his army, which had led most of Russia’s invasions. They have entered the southern Russian region of Rostov.

Meanwhile, Wagner chief Yevgeny Prigozhin warned Putin that he had a 25,000-strong army ready to die. Russian authorities in Rostov urged residents to stay at home after the head of the Wagner Group said his forces had entered the southern border region.

Meanwhile, the governor of Lipetsk said that the authorities have decided to strengthen security measures there. Keeping this in view, a large number of tanks and armored vehicles of the Russian army have been seen on the streets of Moscow.
