BJP’s new resolution meeting organized in Telangana, JP Nadda will address


JP Nadda Telangana Visit: Telangana BJP is organizing a ‘Nava Sankalp Sabha’ public meeting in Nagarkurnool on Sunday (June 25), which will be addressed by the party’s national president JP Nadda. The party hopes that Nadda’s presence in the meeting will give the BJP a new resolve ahead of the state elections.

The state BJP is passing through a difficult phase and some of its senior leaders are openly expressing displeasure over the way the party is being run. The party hopes that Nadda’s program will dispel doubts among state leaders and workers about the future of the party and help prepare for the assembly elections later this year.

JP Nadda’s schedule
Nadda is scheduled to reach Hyderabad around noon and after resting at a hotel, he will visit Professor K Nageshwar’s residence in Tolichowki and Padma Shri awardee Anand Shankar’s residence in Film Nagar. From there, he will fly by helicopter to Nagarkurnool to address the public meeting, which is expected to begin around 4 pm.

Elections to be held in Telangana this year
There is a BRS government in Telangana. The term of the state assembly ends on January 16, 2024. Telangana was carved out of Andhra Pradesh in June 2014 as a separate state. KCR became the first Chief Minister of Telangana on 2 June 2014.

After the formation of a separate state, the assembly elections were held here for the first time in 2018 and this year the assembly elections are to be held in Telangana for the second time. Elections may be held in Telangana in November-December this year along with Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan.
