In the statement, he said that Russian President Vladimir Putin himself was responsible for the insurrection by the Wagner Group, saying that “Putin himself created this threat in the first place. And, now he is very scared.”
‘Putin can resort to any kind of terror’
Addressing his countrymen, Zelensky said, ‘We all remember how Russian President Putin threatened the world in 2021. He had some ultimatums, he was bullying in a way. The year 2022 showed that he misled his countrymen and got strength from the lies he told about us. Living in the Kremlin, they can resort to terror anyhow, they are able to take any stupid decision, but they cannot control even one percent. And, they are the core problem.
In one day, we lost millions of our people in the cities in an attack ordered by Putin and all this while Russian bandits, mercenaries with heavy weapons terrorized the Ukrainian soil. Now because his own mercenaries have rebelled in Russia, the world is watching.

‘No Russian should remain silent in fear of anarchy’
Zelensky said, ‘Now it is very important that no Russian in the world remains silent fearing anarchy. Now some decisions taken for global leaders can be historic. Every word of journalists is worth gold. It has become necessary to openly name the person responsible for the Ukraine crisis (Putin). And if someone in the world is trying to ignore the situation, if the world is under the illusion that the Kremlin is capable of exerting control…it will make the problem even more dangerous.’
