UP Police Holidays Cancelled: Police holidays have been canceled in Uttar Pradesh. DGP Vijay Kumar has canceled the holidays of UP Police in view of the security on Bakrid, Moharram, Kavad Yatra and Shravan month. Under special circumstances, policemen will be able to go on leave only after permission from the head of the department. Till July 31, all the holidays of Uttar Pradesh policemen have been cancelled.
Significantly, this year the festival of Eid ul-Azha i.e. Bakrid will be celebrated on June 29, 2023. Shravan month will start from July 4
Let us tell you that from July 4, the holy month of Shravan is going to start in the country. This month is considered important to please Lord Shiva. With the beginning of Sawan, the Kavad Yatra will also start, that is, this year the Kavad Yatra will start from 4th July. In such a situation, the crowd of kanwariyas is expected to increase on the roads. Regarding this, the district administration has prepared a route diversion plan in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.

There is a preparation to implement it in the district from July 4. It is being told that the traffic will be closed in the first nine days of Sawan and in the last three days. It is being told that a plan has been prepared for route diversion in Meerut during the Kanwar Yatra. According to the information, the routes of vehicles going from Delhi, Noida and Ghaziabad to Muzaffarnagar, Haridwar and Saharanpur have been diverted. These vehicles will be diverted from Delhi-Meerut Expressway via Dasna Interchange via Pilkhuwa towards Hapur Bypass, Tiala Underpass, Kithore, Parikshitgarh.
