Heavy rains in many districts of Rajasthan, four people died due to lightning at different places


Jaipur: With the onset of Southwest Monsoon in some parts of Rajasthan on Sunday (June 25), light to moderate rains were recorded in the districts of Udaipur, Kota, Bikaner and Jaipur divisions and heavy rains in some districts. . At the same time, four people have died in Pali, Chittorgarh and Baran districts, while four others have been injured due to lightning.

A spokesman of the Meteorological Department said that till Monday morning, 10 cm in Kathumar of Alwar, 10 cm in Khamnaur of Rajsamand, 8 cm in Surajgarh of Jhunjhunu, 8 cm in Thanagaji of Alwar, 7 cm in Bhainsrodgarh of Chittorgarh, 7 cm in Ajitgarh of Sikar. Centimeter of rain was recorded. Meanwhile, 7 cm of rain was recorded in Kota, 7 cm in Kota’s Ramganj Mandi, 6 cm in Alwar’s Kotkasim and 6 cm in Dausa’s Baswar.

Lightning fell on four people of a family sitting under a tree

Police said that a 21-year-old youth named Dinesh died due to lightning in Pali on Sunday evening. He told that two cousins ​​in Baran’s Patpadi and a 10-year-old girl in Chittorgarh died due to lightning. In Badauli Ghata Gram Panchayat of Nimbaheda sub-division, four people of the same family were injured while sitting under a tree in a field due to lightning.

Police said that on Sunday, the three brothers – Suresh, Prithviraj and Chaturbhuj and their nephew Mahesh, residents of Badauli Ghata, were sitting under a tree in the rain. He said that during this time all four were injured due to lightning. All four have been admitted to the district hospital in Nimbaheda.

Meteorological Department issued alert for these districts

Radheshyam Sharma, in-charge of the Meteorological Center, Jaipur said that there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in many districts including Ajmer, Alwar, Banswara, Baran, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Dholpur, Dungarpur, Jaipur in the coming days. The department has also issued ‘Orange Alert’ for some districts including Ajmer, Bhilwara, Tonk.
