CA News Scheme: There is good news for lakhs of CA students across the country. A new scheme is going to be implemented for CA students on coming 1st July. In fact, a new scheme has been approved by the Central Government for Chartered Accountant C course. The scheme is being approved at a time when the CA institute is going to celebrate its 75th anniversary. It is being said that after the implementation of this scheme, many important changes can be seen and under these changes, the duration of CA articleship program will also be reduced.
To be implemented from 1st July 2023
Student mentor CA Sarthak Jain informed about this during a discussion with the media in Indore. CA Sarthak Jain said that on June 23, the Institute of Chartered Accounts of India i.e. ICAI has informed him that on the basis of inputs received from all the stakeholders, a new plan for CA education and training was prepared. . While preparing this plan, International Education Standards and National Education Policy have also been followed in letter and spirit. That is, according to the new education policy, this scheme is now being implemented from July 1, 2023.
Now paper six has been done
Apart from this, there are three levels in CA, first foundation, second intermediate and third CA final, in which most changes have been seen in CA final. Earlier there used to be eight papers in CA final, which have now been reduced to six papers. Apart from this, two papers on Costing and Corporate Law have been reduced from CA Final. Children will definitely get the benefit of reducing the duration of articleship and removing two papers of CA final. At the same time, children will no longer understand the need to study CA during articleship. After articleship, students will be able to concentrate on studies. Apart from this, in the last few years the average result of CA was 10-15%. It is estimated to increase up to 25 percent.
Here the first examination of the new course will be held in May 2024 and in the year 2017, when some changes were made in the course, the children had the option to select the old and the new course. Till 3 years children could choose old or new course but this time this option has been removed. If the children are not able to pass the CA exam by November 2023, then they will have to give their next exam in the new course only.
Another big change has been made, according to this, earlier in the CA exam, if there are three papers in a group and the children have passed two papers, but failed in one paper, then all the three papers had to be given again. This has now been changed to the point that if a student passes the remaining two papers by scoring the required marks, then he will have to re-appear in only one paper.
