Patna-Ranchi Vande Bharat: Ministry of Railways will start operation of Vande Bharat train with eight coaches from June 27 between Jharkhand’s capital Ranchi and Bihar’s capital Patna. Its third and final test journey was successful on Sunday.
Inaugurated on 27th June, operational from 28th June
Chief Public Relations Officer of South-East Railway in Hajipur Zone, Birendra Kumar said that the third trial run of this high-speed passenger train with eight coaches on Sunday was completely successful. Earlier on June 12 and 18, the first and second test journey of this train was done respectively. He told that now this train is fully ready for inauguration on June 27 and regular operation of Vande Bharat train will also start between the two cities from June 28.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi can inaugurate
The train is likely to be inaugurated online by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The South Eastern Railway had said in a statement on Saturday that it has been ensured by the Ministry of Railways that the Vande Bharat Express train will be operated between Patna-Ranchi-Patna.

Meanwhile, the schedule for the operation of the train has been fixed. According to the Railways, this train will run six days a week. It will not be operational on Tuesday. Every day it will leave Patna Junction at 7.00 am and reach Ranchi at 1.20 pm and Hatia station at 1.20 pm. In return, it will leave Hatia at 3.55 pm and Ranchi at 4.15 pm and reach Patna at 10.10 pm. Train number 02439 Ranchi-Patna Vande Bharat Express will depart from Ranchi at 10.30 am on the day after its inauguration. Train number 22349 Patna-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express train will depart from Patna six days a week (except Tuesday) from 28th June.
Patna to Ranchi semi high speed train will save time
To connect Patna to Ranchi, this semi high speed train will be run on this route for the first time. This Vande Bharat Express train will reduce the travel time.
