After this, citizens and social organizations and voluntary organizations of Delhi have written letters to the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi.

44 residential welfare committees (RWAs), social and voluntary organizations from different areas of Delhi have sent letters to the Governor regarding heinous incidents like murder, murderous attacks, loot, molestation. Letters have been sent to LG from different areas of Delhi. .

There is fear in sending children and women out – RWA

In a letter sent to the LG, civil organizations have said that the sensational incident of robbery near Pragati Maidan tunnel has created an atmosphere of fear among businessmen and general public. Organizations have written that now there is fear even in sending the children and women of the family out of the house. In this, the LG has been appealed to take immediate steps to increase the activism and presence of the police in the area.

It has been said in the letter that if immediate measures are not taken to bring law and order back on track, there may be an exodus of traders from Delhi.

CTI also wrote a letter

Earlier, the merchant organization Chamber of Trade and Industry (CTI) had written a letter to Delhi’s LG Vinay Kumar Saxena on the issue of law and order in Delhi, seeking an appointment with him. Traders want LG Vinay Saxena to take cognizance of this issue and call a join meeting of traders with Delhi Police in which all these issues should be highlighted and security should be ensured.
