UP Crime News: To fulfill the promise made to the wife in Moradabad, the husband became a thief. Hashim got married in January. He had promised to take his wife to a hill station like Kullu Manali on their honeymoon. Due to lack of money, there was a problem in fulfilling the promise. Hashim first stole a new Bullet motorcycle from Thana Majhola area on June 3. On June 4, Kotwali reached Sagar Sarai in Sadar area. There are dozens of wholesale shops of drug dealers in Sagar Sarai.

Wife was promised to visit hill station on honeymoon

Hashim started keeping an eye on the incoming medical representative after conducting a recce of a medical agency. On getting a chance, Hashim ran away with a bag containing one lakh 90 thousand rupees from MR named Nasir, who came from Amroha. After two thefts in two days, the husband took his wife on a bullet motorcycle and went on a journey to Kullu Manali. Kotwali Sadar police received information about the theft. The police searched the footage of the CCTV camera.

Husband took stolen money and bike to Kullu Manali

It was difficult to identify the youth who stole the bag because of the mask. Police checked more than 50 CCTV footages before and after the incident. In one of the footage, the face of the man who committed the theft was seen by the police without a mask. With the help of CCTV footage, the accused was identified as Hashim. Police obtained Hashim’s mobile number with the help of an informer and put it on surveillance.

Hashim’s last mobile location was found in Himachal Pradesh. After that the mobile phone was switched off. The police started waiting for Hashim’s return. After coming to Moradabad, the police sitting in ambush took Hashim into custody. During interrogation, the accused confessed to the crime of stealing a bullet motorcycle along with stealing a bag full of money. Hashim told the police that after marriage he had promised to take his wife to a hill station on honeymoon.

After the marriage in January, the wife was pressurizing him to visit the hill station. He told that he had to steal due to lack of money. Police has recovered 45 thousand stolen rupees from Hashim. The police is probing Hashim’s criminal history.
