Shashi Tharoor Disappointed With ODI World Cup Schedule 2023: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the official schedule of the ODI World Cup to be held in India on 27 June during an event in Mumbai. The mega event will begin on October 5 with a match between defending champions England and New Zealand. A total of 48 matches will be played during this tournament, which will be organized in the stadiums of 10 different cities of India. After the World Cup schedule came out, now Congress leader and MP Shashi Tharoor has expressed disappointment over Kerala not getting a single match.

ODI World Cup matches are being organized in only 10 cities of India. On the other hand, Congress leader Shashi Tharoor did not take any delay in expressing his displeasure after the schedule came out. Tharoor wrote in a tweet that it was very disappointing to see that the stadium of Thiruvananthapuram, which is considered one of the best in India. Not a single match of the ODI World Cup is being played there.

Shashi Tharoor further wrote in his tweet that Ahmedabad is now becoming the new capital of cricket in the country. Couldn’t one or 2 matches have been allotted to Kerala in this mega event? Let us tell you that the practice matches of the ODI World Cup will be organized in Thiruvananthapuram. From 29 September to 3 October in Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram ODI World Cup practice matches will be played.

Shashi Tharoor only met Shoaib Akhtar

The Congress leader had recently shared the picture of his meeting with former Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Akhtar at Dubai airport on social media.
