ICC World Cup 2023 Schedule: The official schedule of the ODI World Cup 2023 was announced by the ICC on 27 June. The first match of this tournament will be played between England and New Zealand on October 5 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. In this mega event, host India will start its campaign against Australia on 8 October. The ICC has also kept a reserve-day rule for the final and semi-final matches of the World Cup.

This time India is organizing the entire ODI World Cup alone. During this tournament matches will be played in 10 cities of the country. During this, the Indian team will travel the most during the entire mega event. Team India will play its 9 matches in 9 different cities. The final match of the tournament will be held in Ahmedabad on November 19. Narendra Modi Will be played in the stadium. At the same time, the great match between India and Pakistan will be played on 15 October.

According to the schedule issued by the ICC, matches of the league stage will be played under the round robin format. While the first semi-final match will be played in Mumbai on 15 November, the second semi-final match will be played in Kolkata on 16 November. During this, the rule of reserve-day has also been kept in case of rain in both the matches. On the other hand, if there is an interruption due to rain in the final match, then the match will be played on Reserve-day on 20 November. All knockout matches will be day-night which will start at 2 pm Indian time.

6 days while 42 day-night matches will be played

A total of 48 matches will be played in the upcoming ICC ODI World Cup. During this, there will be a total of 6 day matches while 42 day-night matches will be organized. The day-match will start at 10:30 am Indian time. Whereas day-night matches will be played from 2 pm. Double matches will also be played on 6 days during this entire tournament.
