Bharatpur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot is in active mode regarding the Rajasthan Assembly Elections. If political analysts are to be believed, his politics in the state is a bit different this time. When CM Gehlot’s tussle with Sachin Pilot started, he gave a free hand to the MLAs who supported him to save his government and chair.
CM Ashok Gehlot is continuously visiting the entire state. He is working hard to repeat his government in the state. This is the reason why he makes new announcements wherever he goes, he was heard saying at many places that ‘you will get tired of begging but I will not get tired of giving’. He announced creation of 19 new districts to woo the common people. In recent days, dearness relief camps are being set up at various places. CM Ashok Gehlot himself is taking feedback from the people by reaching these places.

In the newly formed boards, CM Gehlot has formed a semi-nomadic board for the Banjara caste, then for Prajapati (potter) Mati Kala, Avanti Bai for Lodhi community, Krishna board for Yadav community. Similarly Rajak Board for Dhobi Samaj and Kesh Kala Board for Nai Samaj, Devnarayan Board for Gurjar caste, Jyotiba Phule for Mali Samaj, Veer Teja Ji Board for Jat caste have been formed.
While Maharana Pratap for Rajput caste and Guru Nanak Dev Sikh Welfare Board for Sikhs have been formed. Vipra Kalyan has been formed for the Brahmin community. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s purpose of forming the newly formed board is to win the vote bank of the respective castes in the upcoming assembly elections.
There is not a penny provision in the budget of the newly formed boards – Rajendra Rathore
Taking a jibe at these decisions of CM Gehlot, Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathore said that Ashok Gehlot is setting records in many matters. He constitutes 3-4 separate boards every month. Sometimes they form these boards in the name of some great man or in the name of some society. But for these do not make provision of a single penny in the budget.
Rajendra Rathore said that the rights, terms and conditions of the boards that have been constituted are just like catching a tingle, due to which people are confused that CA Gehlot has done a great job for them. He accused the state government of forming the board without any purpose and nominating its people as its president. The chairman of these boards himself does not know what work he has to do.
Formation of name board of great men for the sake of vote bank- Rajendra Singh Rathore
Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathore said that by forming name boards of some great men, efforts are being made to influence their followers for the sake of vote bank. Although it is not going to make any difference. Its condition will be similar to the formation of 19 districts. People sitting on the streets are cursing this government, the state government is not getting the courage to issue notification for the formation of new districts even after three months have passed.
Regarding the newly formed board, Rajendra Rathod claimed that these boards will remain buried in papers, they will end naturally with time. They neither have the budget for this work nor the work area of the newly constituted boards has been defined. They don’t even know the rights of their presidents, it is the public who knows everything.
