The case is related to Dehri in Rohtas district. On Monday (June 26), in a locality of Dehri police station area, some people complained to the police, accusing them of running a prostitution business inside the hotel. Later the hotel was also surrounded. After this the police of Dehri police station reached. Seven people protesting in front of the hotel were taken into custody. Among those caught was retired executive engineer Vinay Kumar (61 years), brother of SP Sushil Kumar of the Economic Offenses Unit.

As soon as Vinay Kumar was arrested, the SP of the Economic Offenses Unit posted on Facebook – ‘Shame on you Rohtas Police’. Along with this, he told his whole thing in about one hundred and fifty words. Wrote that when some people gheraoed the hotel on the complaint of prostitution in a hotel operated in the locality, a public petition was taken in the matter. Those who complained about the misdeeds of the hotel operator, the police arrested all the complainants accusing them of obstructing government work.

Headquarters DSP Saroj Sah confirmed

Headquarter DSP Saroj Sah, who reached the spot regarding this matter, told reporters that the hotel operator has booked three people for creating ruckus and fighting in the hotel. At the same time, another FIR has also been registered for interfering in the work of policemen. In the second FIR, the elder brother of SP Sushil Kumar of Economic Offenses Unit was also caught making him a named accused.

SP later deleted Facebook post

After the Facebook post, there was panic in the entire police department. The seven people who were caught by the police were later released. After this, SP Sushil Kumar also deleted his Facebook post. However, before that the Facebook post of the SP had gone viral.
