TMC will show the way out to leaders contesting as independents if tickets are cut, 52 names included

In its report, India Today has quoted sources as saying that about 52 TMC workers will be shown the way out of the party. In which the leaders of different districts are included. These include 19 TMC workers in South Dinajpur, five in Malda, 21 in Nadia and one in Bankura, who are set to be expelled.

TMC General Secretary and Mamata Banerjee’s nephew Abhishek Banerjee has clearly said that the leaders who have contested as independents will not be taken back under any circumstances. Even if he wins the panchayat elections, the doors of the party will remain closed for him. Apart from this, CM Mamta Banerjee has also reiterated this point, she had said during an election rally that if the candidate is denied ticket, he can fight as an independent, but all the ways to return to the party will be closed for him.

Strong message to workers
TMC leaders have given a strict message to such workers that all those who are contesting elections individually, or those who have fielded their relatives as candidates, will be expelled from the party. Let us tell you that on July 8, votes will be cast for the Panchayat elections in West Bengal, after which the results will be released on July 11. Before this, strict security arrangements are being made in the state.
