Pictures showed pieces of metal covered with tarpaulin before being lifted onto trucks by crane. According to BBC report, US Coast Guard officials have said that the submarine’s landing frame and rear cover have been found in the wreckage.

He said that the final report will be issued to the International Maritime Organisation. With this, he said, “My primary goal is to prevent a similar incident by making necessary recommendations to advance the security of maritime zones around the world.”

Remotely operated vehicle used

The Canadian ship Horizon Arctic took a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) to find the pieces of the submarine. According to the AP report, this ROV belongs to Pelagic Research Services Company, which has offices in Massachusetts and New York.

The company said it has completed off-shore operations and its team is still on the mission. The company said that it does not want to comment on the ongoing investigation regarding Titan.
