Pakistan PTI News: In Pakistan, the arrest of the leaders of former PM Imran Khan’s party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) continues. The police there have now arrested Dr. Amjad, former provincial minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa of PTI and city mayor Shahid Ali Khan from Swat. Before this, a leader Ali Muhammad Khan was arrested again for the sixth time after being released from jail.
Pakistan’s ARY News reported on June 28 that Mayor Shahid Ali Khan has been arrested from his residence. After the arrest, PTI leaders have been taken to Saidu Sharif Jail. Let us tell you that PTI leader Ali Muhammad Khan was granted bail by an anti-corruption court judge on Tuesday, but the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) took Khan into custody once again in a separate case.
Arrested again at the gate while coming out of jail
A leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) told that on Tuesday itself, Ali Muhammad Khan was arrested again for the sixth time after being released from jail. And, he was arrested by ACE officers only when Ali Muhammad Khan was leaving the jail entrance.
More than 4000 leaders-workers associated with PTI in captivity
Imran Khan says that the present government of Pakistan is trying to destroy the existence of his party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) with the help of army and police. According to Imran, till now more than 4000 leaders-workers associated with PTI have been arrested and put in jails. The recently arrested PTI leader was sent to jail for irregularities in funds in construction projects and now a fresh investigation has been launched against him in a corruption case. The others nominated were Tufiyal Anjum and former minister Muhammad Atif, reports ARY News. The political situation in Pakistan has become very bad for the last few days.
The days came in the midst of political turmoil in Pakistan Imran Khan The leaders of the party are being arrested. The government arrested over 1,000 PTI leaders and workers in a crackdown to thwart the party’s plans for a massive show of strength in Islamabad.
