Bandra Sea Link Renamed: Taking a big decision, the Shinde government of Maharashtra has changed the name of Mumbai’s Versova-Bandra Sea Link to Veer Savarkar Setu. At the same time, the name of Mumbai Trans Harbor Link has also been changed. Now it will be known as Atal Bihari Vajpayee Smriti Setu. A decision on this was taken in the state cabinet meeting on Wednesday (June 28). News agency ANI has given information about this.

Chief Minister of Maharashtra Eknath Shinde Last month, on Savarkar’s birthday, May 28, it had announced that the Bandra-Versova sea link would be renamed after Hindutva ideologue Veer Savarkar. Shinde had also said that like the Central Gallantry Award, the State Level Gallantry Award would also be named after Swatantrya Veer Savarkar.

Seal on opening of 700 Balasaheb clinics

According to the report of ABP Manjha, in the Shinde cabinet meeting, it was also decided to start Hindu Hriday Samrat Balasaheb Thackeray clinics at 700 places in the state of Maharashtra. A provision of Rs 210 crore has been made for this. The decision to cancel the canals of Bhama Askhed project has also been taken in this cabinet meeting. Farmers of three talukas will get its benefit.
