Tasleem Rahmani On Polygamy: Prime Minister Narendra Modi (Narendra Modi) by referring to the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) has intensified the debate about UCC across the country. Now MPCI President Tasleem Ahmed Rahmani has given a big statement regarding more than one marriage in Islam. He said, “This is a misconception. Polygamy or polygamy has nothing to do with the Uniform Civil Code (UCC).”
Tasleem Ahmed Rahmani said in a conversation with news channel TV9 Bharatvarsh, “If you feel the need, you can marry two, three or four, but it is better for you to marry only one because you cannot do justice. If You can do justice, only then marry another. This means that more than one marriage is conditional even in Islam.”
‘There are many rights in Islam but they are not available’
At the same time, Muslim thinker Mohammad Faiz Khan said, “By the way, in Islam, before marriage, instead of the boy, the girl is asked whether you are ready for marriage or not. Equal rights have been given to property, that is, the amount of property that the brother will get.” The same amount will be given to the sister. Even the girl will have a share in the husband’s property. This is a different thing which is not followed in Islam.”
Why is UCC necessary for Muslim girls?
Mohammad Faiz said, “If the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) comes, then it will become mandatory that the daughter should get a share in the husband’s property as well as in the father’s property. That’s why the coming of the UCC is necessary. If the condition is bad, it will improve.
