Ambati Rayudu Enters Into Politics: Former Indian cricketer Ambati Rayudu has announced the new innings of his life. Rayudu has told that he will soon keep his hand in the politics of Andhra Pradesh. Rayudu played his last match for Chennai Super Kings in the final of IPL 2023 and then announced his retirement from all forms of cricket. Now Rayudu has come to the ground level to understand the issues of the people.
According to the report of ‘Hindustan Times’, Rayudu visited every nook and corner of his native district Guntur. Speaking to a local reporter during his visit to Guntur, Rayudu said, “I will soon enter politics to serve the people of Andhra Pradesh. Before that I have decided to visit different parts of the district to feel the pulse of the people and understand their problems.”
Rayudu told that he is visiting rural areas to understand the need of the people. They are trying to know how they can fulfill the needs of the people. He said, “I will come out with a concrete action plan on how to enter politics and which platform I will choose.” Apart from this, the former Indian cricketer denied that he would contest from Guntur or Machilipatnam in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. .
Which party can you join?
It has not yet been clarified from Rayudu’s side which party he will join. There are speculations that he may join YSR Congress party. Rayudu tweeted on April 19 and praised a speech by the state’s CM Jagan Mohan Reddy. He wrote, “Splendid speech… Our Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy… Everyone in the state has full faith in you sir.”
It is noteworthy that after the final of IPL 2023, Rayudu met CM Jagan Mohan Reddy along with the management of Chennai Super Kings.
