Khuti Puja was organized here on the occasion of Eid, in which a 6-year-old Muslim girl was dressed as Maa Durga. This puja is organized every year by the organizers of Community Durga Puja, this time it was decided to do it on the occasion of Bakrid.
Worship organized for religious harmony
In fact, before starting the work on the pandal, the preparations for Durga Puja are started with Khuti Puja. According to the Times of India report, Durga Puja organizers said that the violence during Ramnavami forced them to think in this way about organizing this puja on the occasion of Eid. An auspicious day is chosen for this Khuti Puja, that is why it was decided to organize this Puja on the occasion of Bakrid. To reduce the religious divide, a Muslim girl was chosen and given the message of goodwill by giving her the form of Maa Durga.
After giving the form of Maa Durga to the Muslim girl prepared for Khuti Puja, everyone took her blessings by touching her feet and completed this Puja together. During this, the people of the Muslim community celebrating Eid were also present on the occasion. The name of the 6-year-old girl involved in Khuti Puja was Rimsha, who is the daughter of Nadeem Ali, who lives nearby.
Muslim family also expressed happiness
In this way, the family also looked very happy by including the daughter in the puja. Nadeem, who works as a tailor, told that when he was informed about this by the committee, he was very happy, apart from this, his wife also looked very upset. After celebrating the festival of Bakrid, Nadeem’s entire family and his friends attended the Khuti Puja. The worshiping priests also appreciated such initiative and said that it shows a beautiful form of humanity.
