Pakistan On India US Defense Ties: Neighboring country Pakistan is upset seeing the increasing friendship between India and America. Agreement between India and America
Prime Minister Narendra Modi Recently went on a state visit to America, where several agreements were signed between the two countries in areas like defence, trade. General Electric and India’s state-owned Hindustan Aeronautics Limited will make advanced fighter jet engines in India for the country’s indigenous light combat aircraft.
The US also agreed to set up a facility in India for the production of war mode drones. As far as India is concerned, Russia has been the major supplier of arms to India for many years with a 65 per cent share.
Alarm bells in Pakistan!
US defense deals with India have already set off alarm bells in Pakistan, indicating that the US is not only willing to sell arms to India, but is also not averse to the idea of technological transfer.
