In it, he has said that, against the basic sentiments of the local residents, the names written in Bengali language on the nameplates of the railway stations of Jharkhand are being erased. This is impractical and unfortunate. While the feeling of the natives of Jharkhand is that the names of the railway stations in their area should be written on the name plates in the local language.

Shibu Soren has written a letter to the Railway Minister urging him to make it mandatory to write the names of railway stations in Bangla and tribal languages ​​in Bengali speaking areas as soon as possible after consulting the state government. For this, Shibu Soren has given a copy of the letter to Chief Minister Hemant Soren and suggested to take necessary initiative. Shibu Soren has said in a letter to the Railway Minister that the territory of Jharkhand remained a part of the Bengal Presidency till 1912. Later it became a part of Bihar and now it has become Jharkhand.

Shibu Soren further said that it should be noted that names of other stations including Pakur, Barharwa, Jamtara, Mihijam, Madhupur, Jasidih, Maithon, Kumardhubi, Chirkunda, Hazaribagh, Gomo, Parasnath, Kandra, Chakradharpur, Chaibasa, Ranchi should be written in Bengali language. Shibu Soren said that it is highly impractical and unfortunate that the name plate of the language spoken by a large population has been removed from the railway stations.
