You must have visited some restaurant or hotel at some point or the other and must have noticed that there is always a bowl of fennel sugar candy kept on the table. Most of the people do not know what is the reason behind keeping saunf mishri on the table. Some people think that fennel-mishri might have been kept in the bowl to give a ‘tip’. 4. Get rid of bad breath: Fennel and sugar candy work together as a ‘mouth freshener’. It gets rid of the smell coming from the mouth after eating it.
