Amarnath Yatra 2023: The Amarnath Yatra has formally started. While the first batch had left for Amarnath on Friday (June 30), the second batch has also left on Saturday (July 1). Meanwhile, about 300 passengers have become victims of fraud and got stuck in Jammu because online fraud is happening in Amarnath Yatra. These passengers had reached Jammu from Uttar Pradesh, Delhi and Ghaziabad. These people say that some tour operators have tricked these passengers with fake registration in the name of online package for Amarnath Yatra.
According to ANI, passengers told that Rs 7000 was taken from each passenger in the name of documents, but when the passengers reached Jammu to go on Amarnath Yatra, their documents were checked, after which it was found that the documents handed over by the tour operators They were all fake. After this whole incident, the passengers who were cheated are in a panic. Actually, all these devotees had reached the registration centers to get the RFID cards and no data was found on the portal of the Shrine Board. After which, on the complaint of Jammu and Kathua administration, the police registered a case and started investigation.

Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Commissioner Avni Lavasa said that the police have registered a complaint in this matter and further investigation is underway. Not only this, while advising the passengers, he said that register for Amarnath Yatra only by visiting the official website. According to the Kathua administration, fraud has been detected at the time of e-KYC verification and issuance of RFID cards. The matter was handed over to the police administration to take strict action against the fraudulent travel agency. Along with this, the administration has advised the people to be alert about issuing permits to any fake travel agency.
