Painful road accident in Sindh province of Pakistan, two buses collided, 7 killed and 20 injured


Pakistan Bus Accident: At least seven persons were killed and 20 others injured when two speeding buses collided in Pakistan’s Sindh province. The officers provided this information. A police official said that the accident happened on Friday. He said, “One bus was coming from Lahore to Karachi while the other was going to Karachi. Both the buses were on high speed and due to this both collided.”

At least seven people were killed and 20 others were injured in the incident which took place near Moro in Nowshero Firoz, Pakistan’s Sindh province police station in-charge Nazim Bhutto said. The injured have been admitted to hospitals in Nawabshah and Nowshero Firoz. .

Road accidents are common in Pakistan
Earlier this month, seven people were killed and 42 others injured when two buses collided head-on on a road along the Mehran Highway near Nawab Shah. At least 13 people, including five women, were killed and 31 others injured when a bus overturned near Kallar Kahar on the Islamabad-Lahore motorway. Earlier in April, nine people were killed in a head-on collision between a truck and a minivan near Keonjhar Lake in Sindh’s Thatta district.

Road accidents are common in Pakistan and are mainly caused by bad roads, poorly maintained vehicles and unprofessional driving. Passenger vehicles are often overcrowded and seat belts are usually not worn, which means that the death toll in single-vehicle crashes is high.
