Twitter Down Update: Many people across the world complained on Saturday (July 1) that micro-blogging site Twitter was not working. They complained on social media that when they tried to view or post the tweet, they kept seeing an error message that read, “The tweet could not be retrieved.”
Nearly 4,000 users have reported problems with Twitter, according to Down Detector, a website that monitors outages of online services. However, the company has not yet issued any statement on the outage.

Users of many big cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad complained of not being able to access Twitter. Twitter has also started trending down on social media. Thousands of users reported Twitter being down. The most reported problems were 42 percent in the application, 40 percent on the website, and the remaining 18 percent in the feed.
Twitter down for the third time this year
This is the third time this year that Twitter is down. Earlier in the month of March too, Twitter had reported glitches in its system and many links had stopped working. In February this year too, people had to face difficulties in using Twitter.
Last year also there was a down in July
Earlier last year also in the month of July, Twitter was down for several hours for millions of users of the world. Twitter service was affected mainly in many parts of America, Europe, Asia then. In India too, users of many big cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad had complained about Twitter being down. Earlier in February 2022 also Twitter had to face an outage.
