How to enter in this field
To enter this field, you must have 12th pass from any stream. After 12th, BA or BBA Tourism Administration degree can be taken. After this, you can also take MBA degree like Masters degree in Travel and Tourism. If you do not want to take a degree, then you can also take a diploma in travel and tourism.

After completing the degree, you can do many jobs like tour manager, travel guide, travel agent, travel specialist, tourism officer and travel consultant. One can work in many travel companies like Make My Trip, Kesari Tours, Thomas Cook, Expedia and Club Mahindra Holidays.

You can do the course from any of these colleges. Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management, Gwalior, IITM Nellore, IITM Bhubaneswar, Christ University, Bangalore, Jamia New Delhi. Bachelors and Masters degree can be taken from almost all of these places. Selection is done on the basis of entrance test.
They are always in demand, even as a fresher one can earn up to five lakh rupees a year. Later, it reaches seven to ten lakh rupees comfortably in a year.
