Petrol-Diesel Rates on 2 July 2023: Oil companies have released new rates of petrol and diesel on Sunday, 2 July. There has been no change in the prices of petrol and diesel in many metropolitan cities including the country’s capital New Delhi. However, there are some cities where there has been a decrease and increase in the price of petrol and diesel.
In New Delhi, one liter of petrol is being sold at Rs 96.72 and diesel at Rs 89.62 per litre. Petrol in Mumbai costs Rs 106.31 and diesel costs Rs 94.27 per litre. Petrol is being sold at Rs 106.03 and diesel at Rs 92.76 per liter in Kolkata. Petrol in Chennai is being sold at Rs 102.63, while diesel is being sold at Rs 94.24 a litre.
In which cities fuel became cheaper and costlier
In Noida and Greater Noida, the price of petrol has increased by 1 paise to Rs 96.65 and diesel is Rs 89.82 per liter. Petrol in Ghaziabad has reduced by 14 paise and is being sold at Rs 96.44 per liter and diesel by 13 paise at Rs 89.62 per litre. In Varanasi, the price of one liter of petrol has increased by 85 paise to Rs 97.56 per liter and diesel by 83 paise to Rs 90.73 per litre.
In Bihar’s Patna, petrol has increased by 12 paise to Rs 107.42 per liter and diesel has increased by 12 paise to Rs 94.21 per litre. One liter of petrol is being sold 21 paise cheaper at Rs 110.98 per liter and diesel 19 paise cheaper at Rs 95.99 per liter in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. In Delhi NCR region Gurugram, the price of one liter of petrol has increased by 41 paise to Rs 97.18 per liter and diesel has increased by 40 paise to Rs 90.05 per litre.
