Israel News: At least eight Palestinians were killed following a massive air and ground raid on the occupied West Bank city of Jenin by Israel. While 28 other people are said to be injured. The Palestinian Ministry of Health says that the death toll may increase.
According to the report of the news agency AFP, in the early hours of Monday (03 July), Israel used drones to attack in its occupied West Bank and deployed hundreds of soldiers in the area. At the same time, the area was shaken due to firing and explosions.
It was told in the report that after the attack, the Palestinians threw stones at the soldiers of Israel. The sky was completely blackened by the smoke from the explosions and burning barricades. “There are airstrikes as well as ground attacks,” Mahmoud al-Sadi, director of the Palestinian Red Crescent in Jenin, told AFP.

On the attack, the Ministry of Health of Palestine says, ‘Eight people have been killed and 50 have been injured, out of which 10 people have been seriously injured.’ At the same time, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry said, “The Israeli army has launched an open war against the people of Jenin”.
Biggest attack after 20 years
The AFP report states that this is Israel’s biggest attack in the West Bank in the last 20 years. Earlier in 2002, more than 50 Palestinian and 23 Israeli soldiers were killed in fighting that lasted more than a week. After almost two decades, now it is another major attack.
10 drone attacks in Jenin city
At least 10 drone attacks were carried out on buildings in the city of Jenin. In a joint statement, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the domestic intelligence service, the Shin Bet, said they attacked a command center in the Jenin refugee camp that was being used as a local group.
