Unmarried Pension Scheme: The government is now preparing to give pension to the unmarried also. It has been said by the state government that a decision will be taken on this within a month. Under this scheme, benefits will be given to those people who have not been married yet.

The plan to bring such a pension scheme has been initiated by the Haryana government. The government’s plan is to give pension to unmarried people aged 45 to 60 years, in which both women and men will get benefits. Information about the amount of pension and how it will be benefited etc. will be taken after the approval of the scheme. Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that a decision will be taken soon.

Who will get the benefit of this pension scheme

The Chief Minister of Haryana gave information about starting the scheme while replying to the pension related complaint of a 60-year-old unmarried person during the ‘Jan Samvad’. Only unmarried people will get the benefit under this pension scheme. Along with this, that citizen should also be a resident of Haryana. Apart from this, his income should not be more than 1.80 lakhs annually.

How many people will get benefit

It has been said in some reports that with the implementation of this scheme, 1.25 lakh people of the state will get the benefit of pension. At present, the Haryana government gives old age, widow, disabled pension to the citizens.

The Haryana government gives three thousand rupees as pension under the old age pension scheme. It is expected that the amount can be given under the same unmarried pension scheme. Government’s plan Apart from this pension scheme, there is also a plan to bring widower pension scheme.
