Senior Pawar’s action against rebels, disqualification petition against 9 people including Ajit Pawar

Maharashtra NCP Crisis: The political step taken by NCP leader Ajit Pawar in Maharashtra on Sunday, July 2, has surprised everyone. He has started his next political innings as Deputy CM of Maharashtra, then uncle Sharad Pawar has made it clear that this is rebellion and said that he will show whose NCP belongs to him. Meanwhile, Maharashtra NCP President Jayant Patil has told that action has been initiated against Ajit Pawar and the NCP leaders who took oath with him.

Patil said, nine members of Nationalist Congress Party have gone to Raj Bhavan and taken oath against the policy of the party. This is an action taken by keeping Nationalist Congress Party President Sharad Pawar in the dark. He told that a disqualification petition has been sent to the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly regarding 9 NCP leaders who took oath as ministers on behalf of the Nationalist Congress Party.

Demand for action against only 9 people in the petition

Patil said, we have written a letter to the Central Election Commission and also mailed them. Action has been demanded against only 9 people. Rest of the MLAs are in touch with us. Will come back with us when they go to their constituencies.

NCP’s Maharashtra unit president Patil said, “We want that our stand should be understood by hearing the disqualification petition soon.” Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar should take a decision in this regard as soon as possible. We have taken all legal steps. He became disqualified only when he took the oath.

Ajit Pawar took a shocking step

July 2 turned out to be a super Sunday for the politics of Maharashtra. NCP leader Ajit Pawar called a meeting of MLAs at his residence. Earlier the news came that this meeting has been called to make the state president of NCP in Maharashtra. Both the party’s working presidents Supriya Sule and Praful Patel also attended the meeting. But the whole incident changed in a short time when Ajit Pawar left the meeting and went straight to the Raj Bhavan and joined the Shinde-Fadnavis government after taking oath as Deputy CM. Apart from Ajit Pawar, 8 more NCP MLAs also took oath.

PTI quoted sources as saying that Ajit Pawar has claimed the support of more than 40 NCP MLAs in his letter to the governor. At the same time, in the press conference organized after taking the oath of Deputy CM, he said that all the MLAs are with him.
