England vs Australia, Ashes 2023: The Australian team may have won the Lord’s Test match by 43 runs, but the controversial run-out of Johnny Bairstow is being discussed more than their victory. Now England team’s fast bowler Stuart Broad has made a tremendous attack on the Australian team. With a reminder of the sandpaper incident in the year 2018, Broad said that there has been no change in the Australian team yet.
Stuart Broad wrote in his column in the Daily Mail after the Lord’s Test match that what surprised me the most and what I was telling the Australian team at lunch time was that one of the senior players of his team once Didn’t even question what he was doing. Especially when his team is defending itself as a changed team in the last few years.
In his column, Broad further wrote that no one tried to stop, wait this doesn’t seem right to me, but no one thought so. Bairstow was not going to take any advantage nor was he going to run. The over was over and he was dismissed in such a strange way, the appeal should be quashed.
Pat Cummins will regret this decision going forward
Broad also took a dig at Australian skipper Pat Cummins in his column, saying that after all, Pat Cummins is a really nice guy and I would be surprised, once everything calms down, if he doesn’t sit back and think, I did that wrong. He did, even though his goal at the time was to win a Test. I was upset with Australia’s decision, especially after listening to them talk about building a new legacy as a team and how they have changed since the South Africa tour in 2018.
