Big accident near rail coach factory in Kapurthala, truck collided with auto, two women died


Punjab News: A major accident took place near the Rail Coach Factory in Kapurthala, Punjab. Two women were killed and three people were injured when the truck hit them. Police told that the accident happened when these people were standing on the roadside and were waiting for an auto-rickshaw to go to Kapurthala. Police said that the deceased have been identified as Devinder Kaur (57) and Ramandeep Kaur (26).

The condition of the injured women is serious.
The injured women have been identified as 37-year-old Anudatta and 20-year-old Poonam. The police got both of them admitted to Lala Lajpat Rai Hospital for treatment. From where he was taken to the hospital in Jalandhar. He told that the truck driver fled from the spot, but the police seized the vehicle.

The incident is being told at 3:30 in the afternoon. The auto driver was picking up passengers in his auto, when a 10-tyre truck coming from Sultanpur Lodhi hit the auto from behind. Due to which two women died on the spot. Police took both the vehicles into custody and registered a case against the accused truck driver.

8 died due to the crushing of the truck
Let us tell you that in the month of April itself, another big accident was witnessed in Punjab. In Garhshankar, Punjab, devotees were walking towards Charan Chho Ganga to participate in Baisakhi celebrations. During this, a speeding truck crushed them, in this accident five devotees died on the spot, while 3 people died during treatment in the hospital.
