Indian Army has invited applications for NCC Special Entry 55 Course commencing from April 2024. For which interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official site of the Indian Army, join Indianarmy.nic.in. Through this recruitment drive, 55 posts will be filled. For which the registration process has started on 5th July. The process will end on 3 August 2023.

Essential Educational Qualification
For NCC ‘C’ certificate holders, candidates must possess a degree from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks taking into account the marks of all years. Final year students are also allowed to apply provided they have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks in first two/three years of three/four degree courses. At the same time, for Wards of Battle Casualties of Indian Army personnel, a degree from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks taking into account the marks of all years.

The age of the candidates applying for this recruitment drive should be between 19 years to 25 years.

Integrated Headquarters of Ministry of Defense (Army) reserves the right to shortlist the applications without assigning any reason. Only shortlisted eligible candidates will be able to attend SSB at Selection Centres, Allahabad (Uttar Pradesh), Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Bangalore (Karnataka) and Jalandhar (Punjab). Candidates will have to go through a two stage selection process. Those who clear Stage I will go to Stage II. Those who fail in Stage I will be turned back on the same day. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in SSB interview.
