Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) director Shyam Sharma has given a big update on Rishabh Pant’s health. He told that Rishabh Pant is fully focused on recovering from his injury at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru. Shyam Sharma told that it is difficult for Pant to be fully fit before the World Cup. In such a situation, it is believed that Pant will be playing in India in October-November this year in 2023. ODI World Cup Will not be able to participate.
“Rishabh Pant is making good progress. He can recover (in terms of fitness) after the ODI World Cup (in October-November),” the DDCA directorate told news agency IANS after meeting Rishabh Pant in Bengaluru. And will come out of NCA only after being declared fully fit.” Let us tell you that on January 4, Pant was taken to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Andheri West, Mumbai for right knee surgery and further treatment for multiple injuries.
He further said, “Rishabh Pant is exercising well. I was with him for about half an hour. He is recovering fast. He is being given many types of exercises. All the exercises related to him walking, climbing stairs. Are being conducted and it is also running on soil or grass.
World Cup will start from October 5
The biggest Mahakumbh of cricket will start from 5 October. The first match of the tournament will be played between defending champions England and New Zealand. A total of 48 matches will be played during this tournament, which will be organized in the stadiums of 10 different cities of India. At the same time, the Indian team will play its first match in the World Cup against Australia on 8 October in Chennai.
