Threads is the only application that has touched this figure in such a short span of time. The company had crossed 1 million userbase in just 7 hours which was faster than Chat GPT. When Twitter was first launched, it took 2 years to add 1 million subscribers. Similarly, Facebook took 10 months, Netflix 3.5 years, Instagram 2.5 months, Spotify 5 months and ChatGPT, an AI technology platform launched last year, took 5 days.
