Raigarh News: As soon as the rains started in Chhattisgarh’s Raigarh district, snakebite started wreaking havoc, in the month of June 36 villagers were bitten by snakes. Due to getting timely treatment in this, his life was saved. Those who delayed in getting treatment have died. In such a case on Thursday, while trying to drive away the cobra snake that came out of the house, two villagers fell prey to it. The villagers delayed in driving away the snake and both of them died. About 104 people have been bitten by snakes in Raigarh district in 5 months. In this, doctors say that there is no need to panic if a snake bites, but anti-venom injection should be taken in time. By which it can be avoided.

The incident of snakebite is continuously coming to the fore in rural areas-youth-died-due-to-snake-bite. Two days ago, in a similar case, a poisonous cobra snake was seen while cleaning the house of David Sahu of Chirramuda village under Tamnar village on Thursday (July 6) afternoon. In such a situation, the victim was informed about the snake coming out while running, to his brother sitting outside. In such a situation, Ravinath Sahu reached the house with his companion Ramnaresh.

In such a situation, the villagers first took the snake out of the house, then were preparing to take both of them to the hospital. Where Ramnaresh died on the spot. Ramnath was taken to the hospital. where he died. Police has registered a case and taken it under investigation.

Patients arriving daily in July
In the month of June-July, daily patients after snakebite are reaching the hospital for treatment. On July 7, patients from Lailunga and Dharamjaygarh police station areas had come for treatment. Who left for his home after treatment. Earlier, a poisonous snake had bitten one of the jute mill police station area. The number of snakebite patients is increasing daily in the ward.

If snake bites, then definitely get anti-venom injection
If a person is bitten by a snake, then first of all it needs to be told that 70% of snakes are not poisonous. It is not necessary that a poisonous snake has bitten. There is no need to panic. After snake bite, don’t try to catch or kill the snake and don’t think of going to any tantrik. Also, if you are wearing jewellery, watch, rings, remove it as the bitten area may swell. Overall, don’t leave anything tight on the victim’s body. Do not try to bite with a blade or a sharp object at the place where the snake has bitten. Rather, take the victim to the nearest health center as soon as possible and get the doctor to give him first aid and anti-venom injection.
