CM’s home district remained topper again, Sehore district got first place for health services


MP News: Rejuvenation Award 2022-2023 for quality health services by the Government of India was announced by Health Minister Dr. Prabhuram Chowdhary. All the health institutions of the district have been identified for the Kayakalp Award. District Hospital Sehore and Community Health Center Jawar have got second place in the state and PHC Veerpurdem has got first place in the district in the evaluation done by the joint team of Central and State Government. Significantly, Sehore district has been coming on top for the last two months even in the case of disposal of CM helpline.

Under the Kayakalp Award, Rs 20 lakh will be given to the district hospital, Rs 10 lakh to CHC Jawar and Rs 2 lakh to PHC Virpur Dame. Collector Praveen Singh Adhayach while congratulating all the doctors and health workers said that with their active contribution all the health institutions of the district have excelled in providing quality health services to the general public. He said that it should always be an effort to provide better and better services and facilities to the patients and their relatives.

Extensive preparations were made for the award

Under the guidance of Collector Praveen Singh and Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Sudhir Kumar Dehariya, comprehensive preparations were made for the award by specially training the organization in-charges by the rejuvenation team of the district. After the training, the entire health staff including doctors were motivated for active participation. Regular monitoring of health services and rejuvenation was done, where deficiencies were rectified immediately. As a result of all this, the health institutions of the district performed excellently during the evaluation done by the joint team of Central and State Government.

Evaluation done on these eight points
Under the Kayakalp Abhiyan, a joint team assessment of the Central and State Governments was carried out on eight points determined by the Government of India. The team did a thorough evaluation of the thematic area keeping in mind the assessment, upkeep, cleanliness-security, cleanliness, bio-medical waste management, support service, eco-friendly services etc.

Selection of these organizations for the award

Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Sudhir Kumar Dehria told that in the selected health institutions of the district, District Hospital Sehore, Community Health Center Jawar, CHC Ichhawar, CHC Doraha, CHC Bilkisganj, Civil Hospital Ashta, CHC Rehti, Primary Health Center Virpurdem, PHC Shahganj, PHC Diwadiya, PHC Kothari, PHC Amlaha, PHC Chakaldi, Bhaukhedi, Neenor, Mardanpur, Etawah, Itarsi, Bamuliya, Ahmedpur, Siddikganj, Ramnagar, Baibodi, Maina and Primary Health Center Gopalpur are included.

All these selected institutions will be awarded under the Kayakalp Abhiyan. District hospital will get Rs 20 lakh, Jawar Rs 10 lakh, CHC Ichhawar and Doraha Rs 1.1 lakh and remaining selected institutions will get Rs 50.50 thousand as award.
