Rajasthan Elections 2023: Before the assembly elections, Ashok Gehlot (CM Ashok Gehlot) government has taken a big decision. A total of 10 hostels will be built in nine districts for the minority students of the state. The government says that in order to provide better education to the students of minority communities in the state, the work of opening hostels in different districts is going to start. Not only this, a working women’s hostel will be set up at Mansarovar in Jaipur and a Minority Citizen Facilitation Center at Jodhpur. For this, the Chief Minister has approved the proposal to make the amount of Minority Development Fund Rs 200 crore including their establishment and to get the approved progress works done under the fund in the year 2022-23.
Hostels will be built in these districts
Hostels will be built by the government in these districts. 50-50-bed hostels will be built in Kishanpole (girls) in Jaipur, Dudu, Kuchaman City (girls) in Nagaur, Baran, Bharatpur, Bikaner, Ajmer, Bundi, Chittorgarh and Churu. A total cost of Rs 28 crore will be incurred for this. Students studying in college and university from class nine will be able to take admission in these hostels. According to the Chief Minister’s budget announcement, a hostel will be built for working women belonging to minority communities in Mansarovar area of Jaipur. It will be of 100 beds. In this, priority will be given to low-paid women working in Jaipur from different districts. 10 crore rupees will be spent in this.
Focus is on strong districts
The Gehlot government has taken this decision in strong districts. Dudu has been made a new district. The Congress is currently in possession of the Kishanpole assembly seat. Along with Bharatpur, Baran, Ajmer and Bundi, the government has completely focused on Churu. Because, these districts are special for the Congress.
Minority Citizen Facilitation Center
Minority Citizen Facilitation Center will be built in Jodhpur at a cost of Rs 12.60 crore. Here you will get information about all the schemes related to minorities. Training camps will be organized in the center. Seminars will also be organized for the encouragement of students and common people.
