Amarnath Yatra Update: Many pilgrims have died since the commencement of the Amarnath Yatra this year. With the death of five more Amarnath pilgrims during the last 24 hours, the death toll in this year’s Amarnath Yatra has risen to 19. Among the deaths due to natural causes, this is the highest number of deaths in a day during the journey.

According to Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board officials, with these five deaths, the death toll in this year’s yatra has gone up to 19, including an ITBP officer and a serviceman on yatra duty.
