‘Flood’ alert in Sonipat-Sirsa-Palwal, CM Khattar said- ‘We called NDRF-ARMY’


Haryana News: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar held a meeting with officials of Ambala district administration to review the situation arising due to incessant rains in the state. Let us tell you that in this meeting Home Minister Anil Vij, Rajya Sabha MP Kartikeya Sharma, local MLA Aseem Goyal and all administrative officials were present.

CM Khattar did aerial survey
Let us tell you that the monsoon rains have caused huge devastation in Haryana. Many districts like Ambala, Panchkula, Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Karnal have been affected by the maximum rains and many people have lost their lives. On the other hand, in view of the rains in the state, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar conducted an aerial survey of the flood-affected areas after a review meeting in Ambala.



Heavy flood in 40 villages
At the same time, after the aerial survey, CM Khattar said that Ambala is the most affected district due to floods. Heavy flood has occurred in 40 villages. We are doing all the work, wherever we need help, we have called NDRF and Army at those places. We are doing everything that we can do.

Search continues for missing people
It has rained heavily in the last four days. Due to this, maximum damage has been done in Ambala district. At the same time, flood water has entered 40 villages. The work of providing assistance to the flood affected areas is going on continuously. NDRF, Army’s help has been taken. Till now there is news of death of 10 people, but some people are missing and efforts are on to find them. Along with this, relief material is being distributed and food packets are being delivered to the people.
