Journalist himself disclosed
According to the report, the journalist who has been fired, his name is Azam Chowdhary, was working in PTV. Chaudhary himself has revealed that he was fired from the job only after a few hours of asking questions to the Prime Minister during the press conference. He has claimed that on June 30, during a press conference at the Governor’s House in Punjab, he had asked the PM a question. Shahbaz Sharif was accompanied by two ministers – Ishaq Dar and Maryam Aurangzeb in this press conference.

Azam Chaudhary had told the PM during the press conference that the media is not able to do its work independently. He said that the current phase is the worst phase in terms of sanctions. Questioning the PM, he asked when and how the restrictions on the media would end. Shahbaz Sharif avoided the question although it was evident from his face that he did not like the question at all.
Information Minister gave clarification
Taking the government’s stand on the matter, Information Minister Maryam Aurangzeb said, “I know Azam Chowdhary and am aware of his views, but despite this, he was invited to PM Shahbaz’s press conference and allowed to ask a question.” Went.” He further claimed that he was never hired by PTV either as a permanent or contract employee.
