Team India tightens the screws on the first day, Rohit-Yashaswi’s brilliant performance with Ashwin


India vs West Indies Dominica Test 1st Day: The first match of the Test series is being played between India and West Indies in Dominica from Wednesday. While Rohit faced 65 balls and scored an unbeaten 30 runs. There was a partnership of 80 runs between these two. None of the West Indies bowlers could break this partnership. Team India is now 70 runs behind West Indies.

West Indies players trapped in Ashwin’s claws

West Indies won the toss and decided to bat first in Dominica Test. During this, the team got all out on the score of just 150 runs. Indian spin bowlers Ashwin and Jadeja overshadowed the team. Ashwin took 5 wickets and Jadeja took 3 wickets. Alyque scored the highest 47 runs for the West Indies. He faced 99 balls and hit 6 fours and a six. Captain Braithwaite was dismissed after scoring just 20 runs. Tejnarayan Chanderpaul walked away after scoring 12 runs. Cornwall remained unbeaten after scoring 19 runs in the end.

For India, Ashwin took 5 wickets for 60 runs in 24.3 overs. He also took out 6 maiden overs. This innings was special for Ashwin. He completed 700 international wickets. Ravindra Jadeja took 3 wickets for 26 runs in 14 overs. He took out 7 maiden overs. Shardul Thakur and Mohammad Siraj got one wicket each.
