West Bengal Panchayat Election Result: On the victory of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) in West Bengal’s panchayat elections, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee thanked the voters on Wednesday (July 12) and said that BJP constantly lies.

TMC Chief Banerjee said tauntingly without taking the name of BJP that we thank those who are opposing us because only we are benefiting in this. The country does not run through these agents and agencies.

In fact, TMC and other opposition parties have been accusing the central government of misuse of central investigative agencies.

He said, “That Bengal leader (Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary) who is from Murshidabad knows why he is doing this. All these Ram Bam Shyam (BJP, Left Front and Congress) are working together. BJP had accused TMC for the violence during the panchayat elections.

What did Mamata Banerjee say on the people killed in the violence?
Mamta Banerjee expressed condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the violence during the Panchayat elections. He said that 19 people have lost their lives in the violence. The government will give compensation of Rs 2-2 lakh to the family members. Apart from this, one member in the family will be given the job of Special Home Guard.

He said that we will not discriminate on the basis of which party they belong to. Let us tell you that there was violence on July 8, the day of voting for the Bengal Panchayat elections.

What was the result of the Bengal Panchayat elections?
TMC is heading towards a bumper victory in the panchayat elections. According to the State Election Commission (SEC) data till 4.30 pm on Wednesday, TMC has won 34,901 out of 63,229 gram panchayat seats while its candidates are ahead in another 613.

The BJP, running on the second number, has so far won 9 thousand 719 seats and is leading in 152 seats. Whereas CPIM has won 2 thousand 938 seats. The Congress has been reduced to 2 thousand 542 seats and is leading on 66.

Out of 9 thousand 278 seats of Panchayat Samiti, TMC has won 6 thousand 430 seats and candidates are leading on 193. While BJP has won 982 seats, it is ahead on 53. CPIM has been reduced to 176 and Congress to 266 seats.
