Maharashtra Cabinet: The cabinet expansion will happen soon after the inclusion of NCP MLAs in the Maharashtra government. Chief Minister with Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar Eknath Shinde Had a late night meeting on Tuesday (July 11, 2023), after which he made this announcement. This was his meeting with both the deputy CMs for the second consecutive day. Nine NCP MLAs, including Ajit Pawar, have joined the Maharashtra government two weeks ago. However, since then many MLAs have returned to Sharad Pawar’s faction. Till now three MLAs have gone from nephew’s group to uncle’s camp.
Three MLAs left Ajit’s side
Three MLAs of Ajit Pawar faction have returned to Sharad Pawar’s camp. These include Markand Jadhav Patil, Ramraje Naik-Nimbalkar and Deepak Chavan. At the same time, NCP MLA Kiran Lamhate has come to Ajit’s camp. After the split in the NCP, he first held Ajit’s hand, but after two days went to Sharad and again turned around and joined the Ajit Pawar faction.
During this, Shinde also condemned Uddhav Thackeray’s remarks on Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis. He said, “Uddhav Thackeray’s comment on Devendra Fadnavis is condemnable. Betraying the people in 2019, abandoning Balasaheb’s ideas and forgetting everything in the greed of the chair, he (Uddhav Thackeray) has done all this.” What right does he have to speak about Devendra Fadnavis?”
Uddhav sticks to his statement
At the same time, Uddhav is firm on his statement. He made a comment calling Fadnavis the stigma of Nagpur, after which a war of words started. Sticking to his statement, Thackeray said that whatever he has said for Fadnavis is correct as he formed the government with those people whom he had been accusing of scam. He further said that when the people who slander people by accusing them of corruption form the government along with those whom he was accusing, then what else should he say to them.
