Chandrayaan-2 mission had failed
Let us tell you, before the Chandrayaan-3 mission, the Chandrayaan-2 mission had crashed on the surface of the Moon in September 2019. Chandrayaan-3 comprises a lander and rover configuration. It will be taken to the Moon orbit of 100 km. The main objective of this mission is to show a safe soft landing on the moon for Vikram Lander of the mission. If ISRO succeeds in doing this, then India will become the fourth country in the world to make a soft landing on the Moon. Countries that have achieved this feat include America, Russia and China.
Chandrayaan-3 landing in August
The codename of this mission is LVM3 M4. The landing of Chandrayaan-3 will happen in August. The Chandrayaan mission was first announced in January 2020, with the Chandrayaan – 3 mission initially expected for 2022. ISRO scientists have worked hard and they are hopeful that this time they will get success.
