Free facility of darshan with Aadhaar card in Mahakaleshwar temple, know how many devotees got benefit


Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga: In the Mahakaleshwar temple of Ujjain, a rule was made for the local devotees to have darshan through Aadhaar card in the month of Savan, but those who visit this gate have lost their way. That gate of the temple remains empty from where the people of Ujjain city are having darshan of Lord Mahakal in 15 minutes.

A new arrangement has been implemented in the religious city of Ujjain for convenient darshan of the local devotees. According to the decision of the Mahakaleshwar Temple Management Committee, arrangements will be made for quick darshan if the people of Ujjain city are informed about their Aadhaar cards. The implementation of this order has also started. From July 11, local people are getting entry in the Mahakaleshwar temple of Ujjain at the Avantika gate.

Moolchand Junwal, assistant administrator of the Mahakaleshwar Temple Committee, told that very few people are taking advantage of the facility. If we talk about the last 24 hours, only 500 local devotees reached the Mahakaleshwar temple by showing their Aadhaar cards to take advantage of the early darshan system.

He told that there is a possibility of a gradual increase in the number of devotees. He also told that the devotees are yet to get detailed information about the whole process. Significantly, the month of Sawan is going on. In such a situation, 2,00,000 devotees from all over the country are reaching the Mahakaleshwar temple daily, while only 500 devotees are going to visit the temple despite the local devotees getting free early access.

Apart from this, if devotees want to take advantage of the facility of early darshan, then they have to take a receipt of ₹ 250 per devotee. Apart from this, a receipt of ₹ 200 is made per devotee to get VIP darshan facility of Bhasma Aarti.

The most expensive philosophy system was being opposed

Devotees had to spend the maximum amount for darshan in Mahakaleshwar Temple, which is at number three in Dwadash Jyotirlinga. It has been mentioned that a large number of devotees go to Ujjain every day for quick darshan, those devotees were facing difficulties. Due to this, the Mayor of Ujjain, Mukesh Tatwal had raised a demand regarding the special darshan system for the people of the city, which got the green signal from the management committee.

After this, separate arrangements have been made for local devotees from Avantika gate from July 11. However, a very small number of devotees are coming everyday to have darshan from the Avantika gate.
