Giving information, the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) said that a draft resolution was presented by Pakistan on behalf of OIC, an organization of 57 Islamic countries, which mentions many incidents including Sweden, which have been condemned.

12 countries opposed the proposal

A total of 28 countries including Argentina, China, Cuba, India, South Africa, Ukraine and Vietnam supported this proposal of Pakistan. At the same time, 12 countries expressed their opposition to this proposal. There are 12 countries in the list of countries opposing the resolution, including the US, the UK, France, Belgium, Germany, Romania, Lithuania, Costa Rica and Finland.

Significantly, there are a total of 47 members in the UNHRC. In which there are only 19 countries of OIC. Who openly supported the proposal but there were seven countries including Nepal who kept distance from voting.
