Maharashtra NCP Political Crisis: After the rebellion in NCP, the politics of Maharashtra continues to rage. Ajit Pawar rebelled from NCP along with several MLAs and joined the NDA government. When Ajit Pawar went, he did not go alone, he took many MLAs along with him. As soon as he joined the Maharashtra government, Ajit Pawar first took oath as Deputy CM. From here the difficulties gradually increased for NCP. After this, the fight for power reached the claim on the party. In this context, C-Voter has conducted a survey for ABP News. In this survey, an attempt has been made to know who is the real chief of NCP. Surprising results have come out in the survey.
Who is the real ‘Boss’ of NCP?
In its survey, C-Voter asked the people, ‘Who according to you is the real chief of NCP?’ Answering this, 66 percent people believed that the real head of NCP is Sharad Pawar. 25 percent people say that the president of NCP is Ajit Pawar. At the same time, there were nine percent people who answered ‘don’t know’. It has become clear from this survey that even after the rebellion in NCP, people consider Sharad Pawar as the party president.
Nephew Ajit’s claim and uncle Sharad Pawar’s reply
The Ajit Pawar faction issued a statement on Wednesday, July 5, alleging that the appointment to the post of NCP president, which is currently held by Sharad Pawar, was “flawed” and that process had not been followed. The statement also claimed that a majority of party leaders and MLAs supporting Ajit Pawar had passed a resolution appointing him as NCP president on June 30, two days before he was sworn in as deputy chief minister on July 2. Sharad Pawar also responded to Ajit Pawar’s claims by saying, “I am the president of NCP.”
