Maharashtra Assembly Election 2024: The political uproar in the politics of Maharashtra is still going on. After the split between the Shiv Sena and the Nationalist Congress Party, similar talks are happening about the Congress as well. Assembly elections are to be held in Maharashtra next year, for which the MVA seems far away from forming the government in the survey conducted.

In the 2019 elections, BJP and Shiv Sena contested the elections together, but after a tussle over the CM’s chair, the two parted ways. Then Shiv Sena joined hands with Congress and NCP and Uddhav Thackeray became the Chief Minister. Last year, after 40 rebel MLAs of Shiv Sena’s Eknath Shinde faction joined hands with the BJP, the MVA government fell and Eknath Shinde became the CM. According to the survey which has come out now, Eknath Shinde That Shiv Sena and BJP can form the government again. In the survey, the alliance seems to be winning more than 150 seats.

What do the figures say?
Zee News-MATRIZE has conducted a survey, according to which BJP-Shiv Sena may get 165 to 185 seats in the Maharashtra Assembly elections. At the same time, MVA seems to be winning only 88 to 118 seats. There are a total of 288 seats in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly and it is necessary to cross the figure of 145 to form the government.

BJP won 105 seats in 2019 elections
According to the survey, Raj Thackeray’s Maharashtra Navnarman Sena (MNS) can get 2 to 5 seats and the rest of the parties can win 22-28 seats. In the 2019 elections, BJP contested on 164 seats, out of which it won 105 seats. Whereas, Shiv Sena contested on 126 and won on 56. Apart from this, NCP won 54 seats, Congress 44 and other parties won 29 seats.
